Use of force Section 49
When the attack is unlawful, directed against life, directed at yourself and commenced.
The defence must be reasonable, meet force with force, and be directed at the attacker.
For example, when you are drawing money at the bank, and a robber points a gun at you, demanding your money, and you reasonably/firmly believe that he may shoot you. You may stop the attack by using your firearm to shoot the robber (Not when or after the robber flees the scene).
