Large Numbers Added To The Lord

for Barnabus was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And large numbers of people were added to the Lord.

Then God’s message flourished and multiplied.

Churches Grew In Numbers Daily

So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in number daily.

And this went on for two years, so that all the inhabitants of Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the message about the Lord.

Lord's Message Flourished

In this way the Lord’s message flourished and prevailed.

3,000 and Immediate Baptism

So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added to them.

Proclaiming Unhindered

Then he stayed two whole years in his own rented house. And he welcomed all who visited him, proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with full boldness and without hindrance.

But many of those who heard the message believed, and the number of the men came to about 5,000.

Believers Added In Increasing Numbers

Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers—crowds of both men and women.

Disciples Multiplying

In those days, as the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint by the Hellenistic Jews against the Hebraic Jews that their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution.

Preaching Increased Disciples Multiplied

So the preaching about God flourished, the number of the disciples in Jerusalem multiplied greatly, and a large group of priests became obedient to the faith.

Church in Judea Galilee and Samaria

So the church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace, being built up and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, and it increased in numbers.
