Master the Bible, Series 1
The Master the Bible System is a four-series Scripture memorization regimen developed by The Urban Ministry Institute. TUMI is a ministry of World Impact, Inc.
ABOUT SERIES 1
In order to master the Bible, we must first know the Lord through faith in Christ. Without salvation, the Bible cannot fully be understood and applied. This series focuses on our understanding of the critical elements of the Gospel, salvation by faith in Christ, repentance from sin, and adoption into the family of God. Here we see how Christ serves as the foundation of the Christian life, and how baptism and membership in a local church are essential to our growth and maturity in Christ.

The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
