BE SELF CONTROLLED AND ALERT. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

FOR IT IS BY GRACE YOU’VE BEEN SAVED, THROUGH FAITH – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

IF ANY OF YOU LACKS WISDOM, HE SHOULD ASK GOD, WHO GIVES GENEROUSLY to all without finding fault; and it will be given to him

So do not worry, saying ‘What shall we eat?’ or “What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ . . . BUT SEEK YE FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL.

ASK AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU; SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND; KNOCK AND THE DOOR WILL BE OPENED TO YOU.

ABOVE ALL ELSE, GUARD YOUR HEART, for it is the wellspring of life.
