Nevzpomínejte na věci dřívější, o minulosti nepřemítejte.

Hle, činím něco docela nového a už to raší.
Nevíte o tom? Já povedu pouští cestu, pustou krajinou řeky.

Vždyť moje myšlení nejsou myšlení vaše, ani vaše cesty nejsou cesty mé, je Hospodinův výrok. Neboť jako jsou nebesa vyšší než země, tak jsou mé cesty vyšší než cesty vaše a má myšlení vyšší než myšlení vaše.

Unavenému dává sílu a bezmocného zahrnuje zdatností.

Chlapci ochabnou a unaví se a mládenci vyčerpáním padají,

Poddejte se tedy Bohu. Postavte se proti Ďáblu, a uteče od vás. Přibližte se k Bohu, a přiblíží se k vám. Očisťte ruce, hříšníci, a očisťte srdce, lidé dvojí mysli.
Pociťte svou ubohost, naříkejte a plačte. Váš smích ať se obrátí v nářek a vaše radost v sklíčenost. Pokořte se před Pánem, a povýší vás.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Den Erschöpften gibt er neue Kraft, und die Schwachen macht er stark.

Selbst junge Menschen ermüden und werden kraftlos, starke Männer stolpern und brechen zusammen.

Žádný sluha nemůže sloužit dvěma pánům. Neboť jednoho bude nenávidět, a druhého milovat, jednoho se bude držet, a druhým bude pohrdat. Nemůžete sloužit Bohu i mamonu.“

One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blahoslavení chudí duchem, neboť jejich je království Nebes.

Blahoslavení ti, kdo hladovějí a žízní po spravedlnosti, neboť oni budou nasyceni.

Blahoslavení čistého srdce, neboť oni uvidí Boha.
Blahoslavení ti, kdo působí pokoj, neboť oni budou nazváni Božími syny.
Blahoslavení ti, kdo jsou pronásledováni pro spravedlnost, neboť jejich je království Nebes.

Římanům 8. Jsem přesvědčen, že ani smrt ani život, ani andělé ani mocnosti, ani přítomnost ani budoucnost, ani moci, ani výšina ani hlubina, ani žádné jiné stvoření nás nebude moci odloučit od Boží lásky, která je v Kristu Ježíši, našem Pánu. Římanům 8

Žalm 139. Vzdávám ti chválu za to, jak jsem úžasně stvořen, vzbuzuje to bázeň. Tvé dílo je obdivuhodné, má duše to velmi dobře ví. Žalm 139.

Dám ti chápání, vyučím tě cestě, kterou máš jít, budu ti radit, spočine na tobě mé oko.
