Draw near to God

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord
Or loathe His reproof,
For whom the Lord loves He reproves,
Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,

Thy Word is a Lamp and Light

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.

11 Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, aacceptable to God, which is your bspiritual service of worship.
2 And do not be conformed to this cworld, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may dprove what the will of God is, that which is good and eacceptable and perfect.

Discipleship

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Discipleship

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

Saved by His Mercy

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
